Benfica have snapped up attacker Miralem Sulejmani from Ajax on a free transfer.
Sulejmani, 24, who is the third Serbian to arrive at the Portuguese club since the end of the season, has penned a five-year deal until 2018.
The former Partizan Belgrade man, who had come to the end of his Ajax contract, had also been linked with a move to Wolfsburg, Besiktas, Everton and Borussia Monchengladbach.
Sulejmani arrived in Amsterdam from Heerenveen in 2008 for a club-record fee of €16.2 million, however, he struggled to justify his price tag and made just eight appearances for Frank de Boer's side last term.
The Serbia international joins compatriots Lazar Markovic and Filip Djuricic in Lisbon – both arriving earlier this month – as well as Nemanja Matic.
