Sweden down Macedonia, Belarus win

Sweden warmed up for their World Cup qualifier against Austria at the weekend with a 1-0 friendly victory over Macedonia.

Alexander Kacaniklic scored the only goal of the game six minutes before the break at Swedbank Stadion to guide the hosts to victory.

Sweden are currently eight points behind Germany in their qualifying group, although they have two games in hand.

In the other international friendly, Belarus recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over Estonia.

Anton Putsilo put Belarus ahead in the 32nd minute before Vitaly Rodionov confirmed victory 10 minutes from time.
