Barcelona have announced that defender Adriano has signed a new four-year contract.
The versatile Brazilian - whose new buy-out clause is 90 million euros - joined the Primera Division champions in 2010 and has made 105 appearances, scoring 10 goals, in his three seasons at the Nou Camp.
Adriano joined for an estimated 9.5million euros from Sevilla but has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the starting XI under both Tito Vilanova and his predecessor Pep Guardiola, thanks to the form of Eric Abidal and then Jordi Alba.
The 28-year-old has earned 17 caps for his country and has already won two Primera Division titles, the Champions League and the Copa del Rey during his time in Catalonia.
