Al Shabab ease into quarter-finals

Al Shabab eased into the last eight of the AFC Champions League as a 3-0 victory over Al Gharafa ensured a 5-1 aggregate triumph.

Sebastian Tagliabue bagged a brace scoring in the 34th and 47th minutes before Nasser Al-Shamrani scored in the final moments.

Al-Ahly are also through following their 2-0 home win over El Jaish. Bruno Cesar and Mustafa Al-Bassas netted in the first half to complete a 3-1 aggregate win.

FC Seoul recovered from an early Freddie Kanoute strike to go through to the last eight following a 3-1 triumph over Beijing Guoan. Adilson equalised in the 61st minute before Il-Lok Yun levelled in the 70th before Myong-Jin Koh made sure of the win in the last minute.

Elsewhere, Buriram United held out for a goalless draw at Bunyodkor Tashkent to go through 2-1 on aggregate.
