AC Milan goalkeeper Christian Abbiati has put pen to paper on a new deal that will keep him with the club for another year.
Abbiati, 35, who would have been out of contract next month, said he was delighted to have extended his stay for a further season.
“I’ve renewed for one more season,” he told Mediaset Premium. “I’m very happy that I will be able to continue my adventure here. Milanello is my home.”
Abbiati, who joined from Monza in 1998, has been a regular for this season, playing in 28 of the 38 Serie A matches and seven Champions League games.
