Krkic, 22, is on loan from Barcelona in a deal that allows Milan to buy him for €15 million in the summer, but Milan president Adriano Galliano is thought to be willing to offer only €5 million.

His father, also called Bojan, told Catalan radio station Xarxa that the situation was complicated, but suggested an arrangement for him to stay in Milan could be reached.

"He is a Barca player loaned to Milan, with all the complications that loan deals can have," he said.

"Bojan is valued there, which is the best for his future. He likes it there, is treated very well, and is in a nice city. He is weighing up what is best for his future."

Krkic, who came through Barca's La Masia youth set-up, spent the 2011-12 season on loan at Roma. The current campaign has seen him make 27 appearances for Milan, mostly as a substitute.
