Garrido, 28, who spent the 2012-13 season on loan at Carrow Road and played for Manchester City between 2007 and 2010, will make the move to Norfolk full-time on July 1.

Norwich secured their Premier League survival with a 4-0 home win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday, and manager Chris Hughton praised the left-back's contribution to their campaign.

He said he was delighted to have secured the full-time services of Garrido, who will sign a two-year contract with an option to extend for another year.

"He has played 34 games for us this season, and the fact that we've signed him is a testament to the contribution he has made to the team since joining us last summer," Hughton told Norwich's official website.

And Garrido added: "I'm so happy to have signed full-time for Norwich City.

"I am very comfortable with everything here - with the players, the technical staff and, of course, the fans. I am just very happy that we have managed to remain in the Premier League, where we belong.

"Now I want to do everything I can to help Norwich to continue to be successful in the Premier League."
