Spalletti, who left Roma for Zenit in 2009, has been linked with a return to Italy this summer, with Italian newspapers recently suggesting he could replace Massimiliano Allegri at Milan.

However, the 54-year-old, who has also been touted as a potential replacement for Aurelio Andreazzoli at Roma, says he has no intention of leaving Russia.

"I staying at Zenit," he told Sky Sport Italia. "Unless the club decides to get rid of me, I'm staying. I see Allegri at Milan and Andreazzoli at Roma. For me, these two will, quite rightly, be the coaches for these teams next season."

Zenit are currently second in the Russian Premier League, trailing leaders CSKA Moscow by four points after 25 games.
