Inter Milan's injury crisis deepened still further as they lost midfielders Esteban Cambiasso and Fredy Guarin to leg injuries during the Coppa Italia semi-final defeat to Roma on Wednesday.

The double setback means coach Andrea Stramaccioni is now without 13 senior players.

Inter's official website confirmed that Argentina international Cambiasso, 32, suffered a tear to his left adductor muscle and Colombian Guarin, 26, had a calf strain.

It happened days after Walter Gargano and Yuto Nagatamo were ruled out with injuries suffered during the 2-0 defeat at Cagliari on Saturday.

Both players could miss up to four matches, while Stramaccioni is also without Joel Obi, Gaby Mudingayi, Diego Milito, Luca Castellazzi, Cristian Chivu, Dejan Stankovic, Rodrigo Palacio, Antonio Cassano and Ibrahim M'Baye.

The absence of Palacio, Milito and Cassano has been a huge blow to Inter's league form, with 35-year-old Tommaso Rocchi their only fit senior striker.

They are seventh in Serie A, nine points off third-placed AC Milan in the final Champions League place.

The latest blow comes after Stramaccioni hit out at reports suggesting that he could lose his job before the end of the season.

"I do not give a damn about rumours about my future,'' he told the Inter website. "As long as I'm on the Inter bench, I will give 110% for these colours.''
