We could've done with three points - Gylfi Sigurdsson and Phil Jagielka
Gylfi Sigurdsson was happy for Tottenham to settle for a point against Everton after his late goal secured a 2-2 draw against Everton at White Hart Lane.
That result keeps Tottenham in the Premier League's top four and knocks rivals Arsenal back down to fifth, but the Gunners have a game in hand and after just one victory in their last four league games doubts are creeping in about Spurs' ability to secure Champions League football.
But Sigurdsson is maintaining an optimistic outlook, insisting that they are still in good shape to finish the season with a flourish.
"It was very important for us,'' he told ESPN. "After going 2-1 down it was important we didn't lose the game.
"We could have done with three points here today but at the end we were happy to get the point.
"In the second half after their goal they dropped down and we had a lot of chances to cross the ball in and a couple of half chances and we're happy with the point.
"We started the game really well but they're a tough team to play against. They made it difficult for us in the first half but we got there in the end.
"It was important not to lose the game because they're obviously up there with us. Many teams are still up there and it was good to get the second goal."
