Fabio Quagliarella's agent believes the striker will remain with Serie A leaders Juventus next season despite struggling to get into the team this season.
Quagliarella has started only 11 league matches this season, with another two in the Champions League, but has still managed to score 12 goals making him the club's leading scorer ahead of Mirko Vucinic and Sebastian Giovinco on 11.
Quagliarella may decide to stay with Juve, who seem set to defend their Serie A title with a nine-point lead over second placed Napoli, even though Fernando Llorente has already agreed to join from Athletic Bilbao this summer on a free transfer, which will increase competition for places.
"Despite all the market rumours, I think that Juventus are ultra-convinced of keeping him," agent Beppe Bozzo told TMW. "He has shown that he can be counted on, that he always responds every time that he is called upon.
"He's reached the maturity that you need that allows you to continue playing for a great side. The extra competition will be a problem for all Juventus' forwards. All are under discussion with Antonio Conte in charge.
"The coach has done well to rotate his attackers and not assure anyone a starting shirt. If new forwards arrive then that will not only be a problem for Fabio."
