Leverkusen 'interested in De Bruyne'
Bayer Leverkusen have become the latest club to voice an interest in signing Werder Bremen’s on-loan Chelsea midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, according to German media reports.

De Bruyne, 21, is at Bremen on a year-long loan deal that does not include an option to buy. He has been linked with a move to Wolfsburg, while Bremen want to keep him at the Weserstadion for another season.
Rheinland tabloid Express reported that Leverkusen had now joined the queue for De Bruyne, quoting chief Wolfgang Holzhauser as saying: “He is a very interesting man.”
The paper speculated that De Bruyne could be part of a swap with Germany international Andre Schurrle, who had interested Chelsea in the summer, claiming the Blues were preparing a new offer for winger Schurrle.
But speaking to Bild, Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller said De Bruyne was “an interesting player – nothing more and nothing less”.
The Belgian is under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2017, and has previously said he will not discuss his future before the end of the season. He has scored six goals and set up another eight in 26 Bundesliga games this season.
