Former West Ham striker John Carew is set to sign for Inter Milan until the end of the season.

Calcio News claim free agent Carew, 33, has touched down in Milan to sign a four-month contract worth around £300,000.
Inter are in need of striking cover with Diego Milito’s knee injury having ruled him out for the rest of the season.
Nerazzurri boss Andrea Stramaccioni sees former Norway international Carew, who has not played competitive football since being released by the Hammers last summer, as an ideal replacement.
Carew played for Roma in Serie A in the 2003-04 season, scoring six goals in 20 appearances. Gazzetta dello Sport reported him as saying: “I'm ready. I feel good, and I've worked with the team over the last two weeks.
“I've travelled around and been to the cinema a few times, but now I'm ready to give my all for Inter. I wasn't expecting the call - life is full of surprises.”
