Lazio have signed Deportivo Cali’s talented youngster Brayan Perea, the Colombian club have revealed.

The 19-year-old winger was part of Colombia’s South American Youth Championship-winning squad last month, scoring a vital goal in their win over Paraguay.

As a result of his performances, the Rome-based club have agreed a deal worth €2.7 million and Perea will join Lazio on July 15, after the Colombian season finishes.

A statement on Deportivo Cali’s official website says the player will travel to Italy in the coming days to complete his medical and sign his contract.
