Arsene Wenger has warned Tottenham and Chelsea that Arsenal will fight all the way for a top-four finish.
The Gunners have bounced back from a series of mishaps to put themselves on the coat-tails of the top four, a position they secured last season from similar circumstances.
Wenger's men ground out a 1-0 win over Sunderland at the weekend and it was a display - with 10 men following Carl Jenkinson's dismissal - that reinforced Wenger's belief that his side are up for the battle.
"There are many games to go," Wenger said when asked about the chances of overhauling Tottenham. "We are in the fight and the game on Saturday showed we are ready for a fight.
"Our character was questioned many times. You saw (against Sunderland) that we have plenty. I liked the last 20 minutes when we were pushed back. We headed every ball. We tried like mad and that's fantastic to see. When we have the desire to win, it helps a lot."
