Arsenal striker Benik Afobe has signed for Championship side Millwall until the end of the season as the Football League’s loan window opened on Friday.
Afobe, 19, was previously on loan at Bolton Wanderers and will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s match against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road
"Benik is the type of player who can play close to the centre-halves and play one-twos with those around him," manager Kenny Jackett told the club’s website. "If we can get him in the right system and playing on a regular basis he’ll be a superb addition for us."
The striker has earned recognition at Under-21 level for England and has previously been on loan at Huddersfield and Reading, before scoring two goals in 20 games at Bolton this season.
