Manchester City winger Jeremy Helan has joined Sheffield Wednesday on a youth loan.

Helan, 20, had spent a month on loan at Wednesday at the end of last year and will now continue with the Championship side until the end of the season.

Owls boss Dave Jones had recently claimed Watford had come in and made a “fantastic offer” but the player has opted to return to Hillsborough.

The Frenchman, who can also play in defence, made 16 appearances for Wednesday during his previous stint with the club.
