Chris Cohen had put Forest in front just after the half-hour mark, guiding a shot past Adam Legzdins from ten yards out after scuffing his first effort.

However, Derby hit back early in the second half to earn a share of the spoils, with a bad mistake from Forest midfielder Simon Gillett allowing Jamie Ward - marking his long-awaited return to the starting line-up - to score his sixth goal of the season.
