New Tottenham recruit Zeki Fryers is delighted with the way he has settled into life at the club.
Fryers, 20, caused a stir when he signed for Spurs from Standard Liege earlier this month, with his former manager Sir Alex Ferguson calling for an investigation into the transfer.
The ex-Manchester United man has managed to ignore the controversy, however, and has since impressed in his first competitive match for Tottenham's Under-21s.
"It's been great so far, mixing in with the lads and the facilities here are great to learn and to get better," Fryers told the club's official website.
"I knew a couple of the lads from England youth internationals and I pretty much know everyone already. I've just got to get to know the staff now! I'm very happy to be here."
Fryers made a significant contribution to Spurs' Under-21s' 5-1 win over Wolves, while he has also featured for his new club in a friendly against Charlton.
"[Wolves] was a difficult game because of the conditions, but that didn't faze us, we were still able to play our football and score the goals," Fryers said.
"It was great to play in the friendly (against Charlton) last week, playing 60 minutes there and I played 90 minutes against Wolves. I've now got to build on that."
