Kompany wins appeal against red card
The red card Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany received against Arsenal on Sunday has been rescinded.

Kompany, 26, was dismissed in the 75th minute of City's 2-0 win over Arsenal after referee Mike Dean deemed his challenge on Jack Wilshere to be a red card offence.
City boss Roberto Mancini confirmed after the game the club's intention to appeal the decision, as the Belgian faced a three-match suspension.
The Premier League champions have been successful with their appeal, meaning Kompany is available for selection versus Fulham this weekend.
A statement on the FA's website read: "An Independent Regulatory Commission has today upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal regarding Manchester City's Vincent Kompany.
"The defender was dismissed for serious foul play during his side's match against Arsenal on Sunday 13 January 2013. As a result, Kompany's three-match suspension has been withdrawn with immediate effect."
Kompany was sent off for a similar offence last season after he went in two-footed on Nani during City's 3-2 loss to United in the FA Cup.
