Galatasaray have declared they have  "done all they can" to bring Wesley Sneijder to the club and asked the player to make a decision on their offer.

Gala announced last week that they had agreed a deal with Inter for Sneijder and expected a decision from the player on Monday. As yet there has been no answer either way with the player stating on Sunday he would not be hurried out of Milan.

Those words prompted Galatasaray boss Fatih Terim to comment that they "must be first choice" for any player amid speculation the 28-year-old was holding out for a switch to England.

Now director Semih Haznedaroglu has reinforced the coach's position, telling reporters the wait is difficult for the club amid talk of possible interest from Liverpool.

"We can't force him to come here if he doesn't want to," he said. "Perhaps he prefers to play in the Premier League.

"He has to give us an answer as soon as possible because we have done all we can. Perhaps he'll give us an answer today but all this delay isn't ideal.

"All this waiting is no good for us and we'll look for an alternative. It was the same situation with Kaka. We did everything possible without any success.

"We can understand that there is no rush from Sneijder but we have done our job. We've got an agreement with Inter and made the player an offer. We need a decision from him, a yes or no."
