Western Sydney Wanderers have maintained their re-signing blitz with German fullback Jerome Polenz committing to the A-League surprise packets for another season.Flying high on the field in their inaugural campaign, the Wanderers are also thriving off it with Polenz becoming the sixth player to re-sign with the club over the past ten days."I re-signed because I am very happy to stay," the 26-year-old said."My wife and I are very happy living in Western Sydney and I love playing for this club."I really didn't have an option because it is so beautiful here and I really want to stay here."Polenz said he was first inspired to leave Berlin for Sydney after seeing a documentary on Brisbane Roar's German star Thomas Broich. And he admitted there could be more of his compatriots heading to Australia with interest in the league growing back in his homeland."Other footballers are calling me from back home and asking me about football down here and about the league," Polenz said.Fellow defenders Michael Beauchamp, Adam D'Apuzzo, Shannon Cole along with goalkeeper Ante Covic and midfielder Mateo Poljak have all re-signed in recent days. The third-placed Wanderers host ladder-leaders Central Coast Mariners at Parramatta Stadium on Sunday night.
