Napoli 'were offered €55m for Cavani'
Aurelio De Laurentiis has said he rejected an offer of €55 million for Edinson Cavani in the last transfer window.

Cavani, 25, has been the subject of constant speculation over the past 12 months and has scored 88 goals in 117 games since his transfer from Palermo.
The Uruguay international may have cost Napoli €17m but, speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, De Laurentiis claimed he turned down an offer over three times that amount before the current season began.
He told them: “Last summer I was offered €55m for Cavani and I decided not to sell him.
“Instead I gave him a new contract by offering him some important money and then in September, we sat down and decided on his rescission clause.
"If someone wants him now, they’ll have to give me €63m!"
