After Rangers, still without a Premier League win this season, had been beaten 3-1 by the Saints at Loftus Road, a fan tweeted to say Cisse "couldn't hit a cow's a*** with a banjo".

Cisse, 31, responded by inviting the fan down to the club's training ground to "have a chat big man".

He then posted the address of the training ground and said which days he would be there. "When you feel like talking to me face to face just come. monday tuesday thirsday [sic] or friday," he wrote. He has since deleted the tweets.

Another QPR fan quipped: "Wednesday must be when they do shooting practice, then?"
