Leon have gone top of a congested table with a 3-1 win over Atlas in the final round of the Mexican Apertura.

Leon flew out of the blocks and were two goals up by half-time thanks to strikes from Einsner Loboa and Matias Britos.
They ensured all three points when they extended their lead when Nelson Maz netted from the spot with twenty minutes remaining before Hector Mancilla managed to find a goal for Atlas late in the piece.
The win puts Leon two clear of Toluca and Tijuana and three clear of Club America, all of whom have one game left to play before the play-offs.
Meanwhile Morelia booked their place in the play-offs by beating Santos Laguna 2-0 with Miguel Sabah scoring a double.
The defeat leaves Santos in the eighth and final play-off spot with three teams in a position to catch them over the weekend.
