Brazil international Paulinho has ended speculation of a move to Europe for the time being after signing a new contract with Corinthians.

• Inter make move for Paulinho
Paulinho, 24, was linked with a move away from his homeland during the summer, with Arsenal and Inter Milan both reportedly tabling bids.
Corinthians have now tied their player down until 2015 and acquired 50% of his rights for an estimated $15 million from Timon, after the clubs registered the deal with the Brazilian Football Confederation.
However, there are suggestions in the local media that this is simply a decoy move made by Corinthians so they can have a final say when the player is eventually sold.
Gazetaesportiva claim that the Corinthians board have admitted they cannot hold on to Paulinho for long, with the director of football Roberto de Andrade telling the paper that the midfielder could be sold in one of the next two transfer windows.
Paulinho is currently with the Brazil squad as they prepare for their upcoming fixtures against Iraq and Japan.
