Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao has attempted to quell speculation about a move away from the club by stressing his commitment to the Colchoneros.
Falcao's father publicly stated last month that it was his son's dream to play for Atletico's city rivals Real Madrid, while also claiming Premier League teams Manchester City and Chelsea have been interested in the Colombia star's services.
But the former Porto frontman, who has scored ten times in just six games this season, is not fazed by the rumours - insisting he is only focused on his current contract.
He told Marca: "Yes, I thought about the possibility of leaving when the club said that it would be difficult to continue if it did not get into the Champions League. The future was uncertain because of finances but the team made a big push and almost all the squad stayed.
"That's something that shows how well Atletico is being managed. I'm under contract for a few more years, my reality is Atletico and I can't think about anything else".
