Juventus have begun the defence of their Serie A title in impressive fashion, winning all four of their opening matches of the season.

The Old Lady meet Fiorentina at Artemio Franchi on Tuesday night - live on ESPN HD - in confident mood, having won the corresponding fixture last campaign 5-0.

Speaking ahead of the match, Montella said: "This game is virtually a derby in Florence. We must try and understand the importance of the game to the fans and capture the mood of the city in our performance.

"But we can't take the field and look to just not be beaten. Juventus have an extraordinary competitiveness and a solid group that believes in what it does, but we have to try and win the game like any other."

Juve defender Leo Bonucci, meanwhile, is anticipating a thorough examination, adding: "We are facing the most difficult challenge of this early season.

"Playing in Florence is difficult for a 1,001 reasons. Last year, they lost to us 5-0, so for them this is the game of the year. This is a real challenge for us."

Massimo Carrera will continue to manage the side from the touchline, with boss Antonio Conte currently serving a ten-month ban, and the stand-in coach has reiterated the pair's understanding.

He said: "To be honest, Conte could even decide to stay away and not watch the game. We've been working like this for a month now and we have refined our telepathy.

"We work hard in the week and we know what to do in whatever circumstances. We're on the same wavelength. We see football in the same way, we know what we want and that is important."
