Manchester United will hosts Newcastle in the biggest game of the Capital One Cup third round, while another of the all-Premier League ties sees Manchester City face Aston Villa.

Liverpool will begin their defence of the Capital One Cup with a trip to West Brom in the third round.

Baggies boss Steve Clarke was assistant manager to Kenny Dalgish as the Reds lifted the cup in Wembley in February with victory over Cardiff, while Coventry are faced with a daunting trip to the Emirates Stadium to take on 2011 runners-up Arsenal.
