Hamburg have completed the signing of Czech Republic international Petr Jiracek from Wolfsburg.

Jiracek, 26, underwent his medical on Monday and has signed a four-year contract, the Bundesliga outfit announced on their website.

The Czech midfielder who played four times at Euro 2012 as the country reached the quarter-finals, could go straight into the squad for Saturday's trip to Werder Bremen as Hamburg look to bounce back from their 1-0 home defeat to Nurnberg on the opening weekend.
