Ziegler reveals rejected Benfica bid
Reto Ziegler has revealed that Juventus have rejected an approach from Benfica for his services, but is hopeful that a deal can be struck.

Ziegler, 26, joined Juventus last summer but immediately found himself leaving the club on loan, spending the 2011-12 campaign in Turkey with Fenerbahce.
The Swiss defender confirmed that a bid had been made and told O Jogo of his desire to join last season's Primeira Liga runners up.
"Directly, no-one from Benfica came to talk to me, but I know they made an offer to Juventus," Ziegler said. "It's true because last week I asked the Juventus directors if they had reached a deal with Benfica or if it was close. They told me that they rejected an offer.
"I am interested in going because Benfica are the ideal team for my style of football. I don't know for sure what the numbers are, but I know that Juventus want a permanent deal.
"I think that it would be ideal for Benfica, and I would look favourably on it, if it were a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season."
