Louis van Gaal has finalised his first squad as Netherlands manager ahead of the friendly with neighbours Belgium on August 15.
Van Gaal has now cut down his preliminary 32-man squad to 24 for the game, although Bruno Martins Indi was a surprise addition to the final squad.
The Feyenoord defender had impressed in the Champions League match against Dynamo Kiev in midweek. "I thought he was a real revelation," Van Gaal said of the player. "The question now is whether he can make the step-up to the top level."
Khalid Boulahrouz, Ron Vlaar, Gregory van der Wiel, Stijn Schaars, Vurnon Anita, Jordy Clasie, Siem de Jong, Luuk de Jong and Ola John all missed the cut.
