Ajax manager Frank De Boer has ruled out making a move for Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi, after former Gunners star Marc Overmars had suggested the Dutch champions were monitoring him.

Miyaichi, 19, has played just two games for Arsenal since moving to the club in January 2011 but has impressed during loan spells with Feyenoord and Bolton.
And after being asked if Ajax would be keen on bringing the Japan international back to the Eredivise, Overmars - who is now director of football at Amsterdam Arena - told De Telegraaf: ""That's right."
However, De Boer has now throw cold water on the speculation that Miyaichi could join Ajax in a bid to play more first-team football.
"In my opinion he is not an option any more," De Boer told Eredivisie Live. "There are several candidates. We'll know more soon."
It is reported that Arsenal, who have included the player in their 24-man squad for their tour of Asia, have yet to make a decision about his future.
