Former England striker Emile Heskey could join Championship outfit Ipswich Town, linking up again with his former Wigan manager Paul Jewell, according to reports.

Heskey, 34, is a free agent after leaving Aston Villa at the end of last season and is believed to have been approached by the Suffolk club.
Jewell signed Heskey from Birmingham in a £5.5 million deal during his time at Wigan, but could face competition from Leicester, the striker's first club, and Hull, in his attempts to work with him again.
Ipswich could be ready to offer the striker a two-year deal as they look to boost their squad and challenge for the play-offs.
But it is believed that Heskey has not given up hope of finding another Premier League club. He moved to Villa from Wigan for £3.5 million in early 2009, scoring nine goals during his time at Villa Park.
