Villa has been linked to PSG in recent weeks, with Spanish newspaper Sport claiming the Paris-based club were lining up a €30 million offer for the Spain international.
However, despite stating his respect for Villa, Ancelotti says he is not willing to take a risk on the injured striker.
"We have not thought about David Villa for the simple reason that he has been injured for a long time," Ancelotti said.
"He is a great forward, but we are in the process of searching for one who does not have physical problems. Besides, I do not even think that Barcelona would let him go."
Ancelotti has added Ezequiel Lavezzi to bolster PSG's attack this summer, while reports in Le Derniere Heure claim an €8 million bid for playmaker Matias Suarez will be submitted to Anderlecht this week.
