Manchester City star David Silva could be ready to pledge his immediate future is with the reigning Premier League champions, according to his agent.
Silva, 25, has been a key figure in Roberto Mancini's Eastlands revolution, with his creativity and guile unlocking many a defence as City won a first league title in more than four decades in 2011-12.
The former Valencia man, currently on international duty with Spain at Euro 2012, has two years left on his current deal and has recently been linked with a possible move to Real Madrid.
But Silva's agent Julio Llorente has reiterated he is happy with life at Etihad Stadium with rumours that a new deal worth £52 million over the next five years is on the table after Euro 2012.
"David has a long contract with Man City," Llorente told the Daily Star Sunday. "I don't know what will happen in the future but he wants to stay."
Silva's performances last season saw him nominated for the PFA Player of the Year award, while he was also included in the PFA Team of the Year.
