France's Samir Nasri aimed a tirade laced with expletives at a journalist after Saturday's loss to Spain in the European Championship quarterfinals, according to reports.

The rant occurred when the journalist asked Nasri for a reaction to the loss as the midfielder walked through the interview area, and Nasri also challenged the journalist to escalate their argument, reports said.

Nasri came on as a second-half substitute Saturday. He has had a tense relationship with French media, even bringing his finger to his lips to tell a journalist to hush after scoring in the 1-1 draw with England in the Euro opener.
