Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has told reporters that there are six clubs in the race to sign star striker Ezequiel Lavezzi this summer.
Lavezzi, 27, is expected to leave the Stadio San Paolo in the coming weeks, with Manchester City, Paris St Germain and Inter Milan among those reportedly interested in signing the Argentine.
The forward is under contract at Napoli until June 2015, but the Italian side are likely to accept bids this summer - Lavezzi also has a release clause of £26.8 million.
"Six clubs continuously ask me about 'Il Pocho' (Lavezzi). There is an international bidding war going on for him. With calmness and alongside Lavezzi we will evaluate where he wants to go and what is the best solution for him and for the club,'' De Laurentiis told Gazzetta dello Sport
Lavezzi joined the Serie A outfit from San Lorenzo in 2008, and scored nine goals in 30 league appearances for Napoli in the 2011-12 season.
