AC Milan have confirmed the signings of Riccardo Montolivo and Bakaye Traore.

Italy midfielder Montolivo, 27, has spent the last seven years of his career with Fiorentina but was out of contract this summer and broke off talks over an extension in January.

Following a medical on Wednesday, he committed to a four-year deal at Milan, whose manager Massimiliano Allegri had earlier described him as a "very good player, very technical".

Mali midfielder Traore, also 27, had said earlier this month that he would be moving to the San Siro when his Nancy contract expired this summer.
