It has been announced that Cape Town will not stage any matches at next year's African Nations Cup.

The Cape Town stadium which was built for the World Cup two years ago will stand idle when the continental tournament is held in the country early in 2013.
Soccer City in Johannesburg, which hosted the World Cup final, will be the venue for the title decider as well as the opening fixture, South African minister of sport and recreation, Fikile Mbalula, has confirmed.
Nelspruit, Rustenburg, Port Elizabeth and Durban will also stage matches. The official draw for the tournament will take place on October 26.
