Leicester City have completed the signing of centre-back Wes Morgan from Nottingham Forest.
Morgan, 28, joined Forest as a 15-year-old and has been a key player at the heart of the side's defence in recent years.
However, he was out of contract at the end of the season and relegation-threatened Forest, whose owner Nigel Doughty is no longer willing to provide transfer funds, decided to cash in
He has signed a contract with the Foxes until 2014 and will be available for Wednesday night's game against Middlesbrough.
