Seven Premier League players named in Netherlands squad to face Bulgaria

Netherlands coach Danny Blind has named seven Premier League players in his provisional squad for the World Cup qualifier against Bulgaria and friendly against Italy later this month.

Vincent Janssen, struggling for goals at Tottenham, is included, along with White Hart Lane teammate Michel Vorm.

Manchester United's Daley Blind -- the son of the manager -- is among the defenders, along with Stoke's Bruno Martins Indi and Swansea's Leroy Fer.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is also on the 27-man list, along with Middlesbrough's Marten de Roon.

Danny Blind stressed the group was not finalised, telling the Dutch FA website: "I have a number of players, including [Galatasaray midfielder] Wesley Sneijder, not put on the provisional list because they are not 100 percent fit at the moment.

"And the Dutch team requires fitness. We need to look at these players over the next 10 days to see whether it will be feasible to call them up."

Netherlands play Bulgaria on March 25 in Sofia and then face Italy three days later at the Amsterdam ArenA.
