Marcus Rashford: Manchester United's preseason tour a 'massive experience'

Marcus Rashford is looking forward to being part of Manchester United's preseason tour of China, even though he will not be playing.

United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Rashford, Wayne Rooney and Chris Smalling will be touring but not given any game time in China, after their exertions with England at the European Championship.

The club are departing on Tuesday and facing Borussia Dortmund on Friday, July 22 then Manchester City on Monday, July 25.

Rashford told the club's official website: "It would be a massive experience, especially with the players that could be going as well. I've got a lot I can learn from them."

The 18-year-old has already experienced touring Asia, having done so with the club's youth team. His United teammate Memphis Depay has predicted that the derby against Manchester City could feel like a home game for United, such is the support for them in that part of the world.

Rashford said: "It's crazy to see their support. The conditions can be difficult to play in, as we witnessed in the tournament we were in back then, but we got through it and it was a really good experience.

"The training part of the tour is a big thing and getting used to the players and the personalities. I'm really looking forward to it."
