Aaron Ramsey back in Arsenal squad, Coquelin could wear mask

Arsene Wenger has confirmed Aaron Ramsey is ahead of schedule in recovering from a hamstring injury and is back in the Arsenal squad for the short trip to QPR on Wednesday.

Ramsey, 23, has struggled with injury this season and has not featured since suffering another hamstring problem on Feb. 10 but is now back in contention.

"Aaron Ramsey is back in the squad," Wenger told a news conference. "From Sunday against Everton, I don't think we lost anybody."

Francis Coquelin fractured his nose in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Everton, with the midfielder set to sport a protective mask if he does play, with Wenger's hand perhaps forced by the continued absence of Mathieu Flamini.

"We have to check Coquelin with the medical people this morning in training to see whether he'll be available or not, but there's no obvious reason why he should not be available," he added.

"Flamini is not far away but not close enough. I think he will miss the next two games."

Wenger also confirmed that Jack Wilshere will not feature in neither the QPR contest nor Monday's FA Cup sixth-round clash at Manchester United. Wilshere had been closing in on his own return for the first time since November, but underwent surgery on his troublesome ankle and is still out.

"He is doing well,'' Wenger said of the England international. "It takes some time to heal the wound after the surgery -- it will take his a few days. I don't set any dates, but what is for sure is that for Man United he will not be available.''

Meanwhile, it appears Krystian Bielik won't feature for Arsenal this season, but Wenger has been pleased by his progress.

"No, he will not be in the squad. He will play again with the youth team tomorrow night," he said. "[We are] very happy, but let's not forget that the boy is 17-year-old, comes from Poland and I have taken him in January more for next season because to give a boy of 17-years-old six months to adapt to competitive environment like we have here is needed."
