NYON, Switzerland -- UEFA has charged Dynamo Kiev over crowd disorder which stopped a Europa League match against Guingamp for eight minutes.

UEFA said Dynamo face sanctions for crowd disturbances, supporters coming on the field and throwing fireworks during a 3-1 win at the Olympic Stadium on Thursday.

UEFA's disciplinary panel will judge the case on March 4, before Dynamo play Everton in the last 16.

Dynamo fans reportedly reacted to fans in the Guingamp section of the stadium holding up a French tricolor as a Russian flag with a slogan referring to the disputed Crimea region.

UEFA did not announce charges against Guingamp.

The president of Guingamp says Dynamo Kiev supporters wanted "to kill'' the fans of the French club. Guingamp fans, who have been accused of having the provocative banner, quickly left their seats as fights broke out.

Guingamp president Bertrand Desplat told France Info radio that he "saw a wolf-pack of people thirsty for blood. They wanted to fight and, I think, to kill our supporters."

Desplat also accused Dynamo officials of provoking aggression with nationalist propaganda and questioned UEFA's decision to keep organizing matches in the war-torn country.

In a separate case, UEFA charged Bayer Leverkusen for fans showing an "illicit banner" during a 1-0 win against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday.
