West Ham midfielder Mark Noble poised to sign new long-term deal

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble is poised to sign a new long-term deal at Upton Park, sources have told ESPN FC.

Noble's current deal was due to expire this summer, although West Ham do hold an option to extend it for another two years.

The 27-year-old's future was the subject of speculation during the January transfer window with both West Brom and Queens Park Rangers making enquiries for him which were quickly rebuffed by West Ham. West Ham have now moved to sort out the future of the popular midfielder as they want to tie down Noble to a long-term contract to keep him at Upton Park.

The talented midfielder came through the club's highly-rated youth academy, making his professional debut at just 17 in a League Cup win over Southend in August 2004.

Noble has gone on to make over 300 appearances for his local club and has established himself as a key member of the side since breaking into the first team.
