Manchester United's Andreas Pereira could follow Paul Pogba to Juventus

Andreas Pereira could be set to follow in the footsteps of Paul Pogba by leaving Manchester United to join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer.

Pereira, 19, is out of contract in June and, according to Tuttosport, Juve bosses have already cast an eye over the winger.

Three years ago, the Serie A club pulled off a coup by stealing Pogba on a Bosman free transfer, and Pereira -- a good friend of the France international -- appears tempted to go the same way.

"Paul tells me Turin is perfect for me," Pereira is quoted as saying by Tuttosport. "Everybody knows that Juve are a great club. I've spoken with Pogba plenty of times because we're friends."

Pereira, a Belgian-born Brazil under-20 international, revealed that he has received a number of offers, including from Juventus.

"Right now, I'm contracted to Manchester United," he said. "My agent is assessing the offers which have arrived, including from Juventus, but this is no secret. I've not made up my mind yet, I'm just considering my offers."

Pereira has been given little opportunity to prove himself at United this season and, like Pogba, he may well be attracted by a team which can offer him more first-team football.

Juve have gained a reputation for spotting and signing talent from Europe's top clubs on free transfers, having also taken Kingsley Coman under contract from Paris Saint-Germain last summer.

Since arriving at the Bianconeri, Pogba has become one of Europe's most revered midfielders, commanding a transfer fee in excess of 100 million euros, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
