Manchester United have signed Belgian youngster Indy Boonen on a three-year deal according to Belgian paper HLN.
Boonen, 16, is a left-footed attacking midfielder who often operates in the No. 10 role and has been training at Carrington for a few weeks after already being invited for sessions at Manchester City, Arsenal, Feyenoord and Wolfsburg.
Already a youth international, and previously on the books of FC Genk, Boonen has been tipped for a bright future and has put pen to paper on his first senior contract where he will play for the reserves.
United have also been tracking the progress of his 13-year-old brother Seppe who is a goalkeeper.
Indy Boonen: "It's like in a dream. The training sessions are hard, but I don't feel the tiredness when I realize I have signed for #MUFC."
