Napoli refute claims of meeting with Palermo striker Paulo Dybala

Napoli have distanced themselves from reports that they could make a bid for Palermo striker Paulo Dybala in the summer.

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has already said the player will definitely be sold after a breakdown in their relationship -- the two no longer even speak to one another.

Zamparini has confirmed that Chelsea, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain have declared an interest in buying the 21-year-old, who has scored 11 Serie A goals and provided seven assists this season.

But Napoli have responded to claims that they are interested by issuing a statement on their official website.

It reads: "With regard to some press reports, which have claimed that there has been a meeting in Palermo in recent days between Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon and representatives of the player Dybala, Napoli announces that this 'news' is baseless."
