Lucas Ocampos rescues point as Marseille are held at Stade Rennes

On-loan Monaco winger Lucas Ocampos scored a goal on his Marseille debut to help his new side come from behind to draw 1-1 with Rennes as they missed the chance to go top of Ligue 1.

Ola Toivonen had netted his first goal since November to give the hosts a halftime lead before Les Phoceens' new No. 7 struck to level matters just after the hour mark.

Title-chasing Marseille could not find a winner, though, and ended up having to hold on for a point after seeing midfielder Mario Lemina sent off in the 83rd minute.

Bordeaux maintained their push for European football with a 1-0 victory over Evian, which did little to help their opponents' relegation fears.

The home side were not without their chances at the Parc des Sports but could find no answer to Wahbi Khazri's early goal as Bordeaux moved up to sixth and within four points of a Europa League spot.

Caen continued their fine recent form with a 2-0 victory over Toulouse.

Sloan Provat gave Caen a 17th-minute lead and Julien Feret doubled their advantage when he converted a 72nd-minute penalty to earn his side all three points.

The victory was Caen's fourth successive in the league and the three-point haul saw them move above Toulouse into 14th in the standings.

Bastia are also in fine form and they extended their unbeaten run to 12 games in all competitions with a 2-0 victory over 10-man Metz.

Ghislain Printant's side ended a run of three Ligue 1 draws thanks to goals in each half from Francois Kamano and Ryad Boudebouz after Guido Milan had seen red for their opponents.

Lille claimed an overdue victory by ending Montpellier's four-match unbeaten run with a 2-1 triumph at the Stade de la Mosson.

Les Dogues had not won any of their last four games in all competitions, with their poor form in the autumn restricting Rene Girard's team to a place in the bottom half of the table.

However, goals from Nolan Roux and Marcos Lopes in either half boosted Lille into 10th place, while Bryan Dabo's stoppage-time strike arrived too late to help Montpellier alter the destination of the points.

An impressive second-half fightback handed Lorient all three points as they claimed a 3-1 win at Reims.

Benjamin Moukandjo gave Reims the lead three minutes before the break but that was as good as it got for them as Lorient surged away in the second half.

Lamine Gassama, Raphael Guerreiro and Benjamin Jeannot all netted for Les Merlus, who condemned Reims to a fifth league game without a win.
